Greenpeace Takes on Taiwan's Biggest Environmental Problems | ICRT Blog

November 5, 2020 earth was becoming a not much safer place than before, water pollution was becoming worse and most people were starting not to care about it. Over 15 or 10 years people were starting to find collections of all sorts of plastics and rubbish, but over those past years the numbers of rubbish has been building up and becoming even worse. People started finding a lot of rubbish in the 2000s, beaches started filling up with all sorts of rubbish which some came from the sea or most of them were from humans, oceans and seas are filled with rubbish mainly plastic. The bad thing about plastic is that plastic takes up to 1,000 years to break down but plastic doesn’t really fully break down and disappear.

The plastic bags that we use daily take up to 10 years to 1,000 to decompose, while plastic bottles take 450 years or more to decompose meaning that the plastic will start to rot. Plastic was the most often thing people found on beaches, oceans and just anywhere around earth. Rubbish and plastic has been spotted around the world

My Personal Experience

Last week on the 5th of August the year 8s went to their Leadership Camp while the year 7s had their Step up Program, the year 8s that didn’t go to camp and stayed back at school had to help with the teachers and help the year 7s with the activities they were doing.

Staying back with the year 7s was alright, the year 7s weren’t that annoying and they didn’t really need any help with anything only some of them needed help of being reminded of some things, but they took control of themselves pretty well and didn’t need anymore reminders. The activities we were doing were okay but in my opinion last year's games were better and more fun. It would’ve been fun if we got to cook something like how cooked Truffles last year. The activities that we did this year were Cup Stacking, Mysteries, Quote Art and this Singing Game they were all fun, but if we only got to do cooking that’ll be even better but you get what you get.

Ideas about Year 7/8 Programs

Task Description: For this task we had to do a table and write down what things we want to Keep, Add and Stop.  For each year we had to decide what things we want to keep as the actives, what we wanted to add and what we wanted to stop, so here is what we wanted to Keep, Add and Stop.   The group we had to work in is Me, Maddy and Mahoe.
