PSA: Water Pollution

 Task Description: This is a reading task that we have worked on for a few days, we had to work on it in groups.  I was with Alison, Jacob and Paige including myself.  The reading task we were working is a PSA (Public Service Announcement).  Me and my group had worked together to create a Water Pollution.  Water Pollution is what we have been working for this whole term, all about what is Water Pollution or what the problem with Water Pollution.  So me and the group have made a video about Water Pollution, in the video is some facts and images of what we have been working on.  PSA.  

Kiwi Kids News Read off!!

 

Task Description: For todays reading task we had to go on to Kiwi Kids News and pick a article, to read off.  Then after reading the article we had to write down some answers to the "recall" questions and the "thinking" questions, so we had to answer those questions about the article and the article I was reading is "What makes a good friend?"  

Pseudoscience

Task Description: For this weeks work I have been working out what Pseudoscience, I had to work out disagree or agree if that statement is right meaning that carrots can help you see in the dark which is true carrots can help you see the dark, pilots eat carrots so that during flying a plane they could see better in the dark.

Giant Mystery

Task Description: For this week assignment I have been working out the Giant mystery about the giant bird called the Moa and also about John Rule and his nephew John Horris.  The way I had to try find out was by finding facts and opinions about the story.

Vaka Voyagers.

Task Description: This week our task is about what the Polynesian use to find their way around and how to find a island to land on, we were reading a book called Vaka Voyagers that had clues on what the Polynesian use to travel after that we had to write in the answer on our task and then we were finished.   

Harry's War

Task Description:This week I have been working on a task called Harry's War.
We had to write a postcard to a friend about the war, we had to write a postcard to
a person called Ted who was friends with Harry which was the one that went into the war.
Harry really missed the farm and being there with Ted he wrote postcards to Ted saying he missed
the farm and really wanted to come back.

Plot line.

Task Description:This week for our reading we had to a Plot line to a chapter book
called Whirlwind.  As you could see there is 5 words for the Plot line, Exposition, Rising action, Climax, Falling action and Resolution we had to write about the book by using those 5 words.
